In Murder at Tidefall, the list brings Sam to a tidal river town built on controlled water and buried history — where the infrastructure is failing, the engineer is dead, and someone has been using the river's architecture for purposes that have nothing to do with flood management.

The network is breaking. The nodes are falling. And Sterling Vane — methodical, patient, always three steps ahead — is not finished.
