The Moonhaven Mysteries Reading Order

All 10 books in order, what each one is about, and whether the order actually matters.

The Moonhaven Mysteries run to ten books plus three box sets. Every one of them resolves its own case, so you will not be left hanging if you start in the middle — but Sam's relationship with the town, with Ezra and with what her grandmother was actually doing develops steadily across the series, and several threads planted in book one do not pay off until much later. If you have the choice, start at the beginning.

Box sets

If you would rather read several at once, the box sets collect the series in blocks and work out cheaper than the individual titles:

Does the order matter?

For the mysteries themselves, no — each is self-contained and fairly clued. For everything else, yes. The long arc concerns what happened beneath the lighthouse in 1923 and which families spent a century making sure nobody found it, and that story is told in sequence. Reading in order also means the recurring cast arrives in the right order, which matters more than it sounds in a series this size.
